The NaNoWriMo Dare Squad, Day 12 — PROMPT OF THE DAY
Pick a character — your favorite character, a character from the novel that you’re NOT writing for this NaNo, your least favorite character who you would love to end up dead — and write a 200 word journal entry about the day they met their author.
. . .meaning you. Have them write about the day they found out you were the author chosen to write them. Were they happy? Frustrated? Extremely confused as to why you were holding various blades up to their throats and tsk-ing anxiously about it not being the right time period? Let your character pour their heart and soul into their journal entry, and then — if you’re feeling especially mischievous — share it down in the comments below!

In dare news: I finished the first draft of my novel this afternoon. (Just shy of 67K.) I have a headache/am exhausted, but I’m safe from diabolical dares… ;) (At least THIS year.)

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Eva!!! This is the most fantastic news EVER!!! Congratulations!!!! *flings ALL OF THE COOKIES at your face* And also….um…I wouldn’t disappear from the Dare Squad QUITE yet. As per the usual, there may or may not be a little twist near the end of the month that you’ll want to…you know…stick around for. Aha. *shifty eyes*
