WINTERTIDE ALBUM TOUR – Announcing The Release of a Delightful Wintry Album!

good morning, cyberspace!

Y’all, I have some INCREDIBLY exciting news to share today! Recently I was contacted by a dear friend to help spread the news of a brand new Christmas Album, WINTERTIDE, which released just last week! Ever since the album dropped on Friday, I’ve been streaming the music on Spotify and falling absolutely in love with the beautiful guitar and vocals… It’s honestly the perfect wintry backdrop to the cozy snowfalls we’ve been having here in Michigan, and I could not be more excited about sharing this release with you all!

“So many of you have been asking for this album for years… Wintertide is for you.”

ABOUT BRITTANY JEAN

Brittany Jean is a folk singer/songwriter in the Pacific Northwest. In 2020, after learning of and then dealing with the loss of her performance schedule for the rest of that year, Brittany turned her focus to creating her first-ever Christmas Album, hoping that it would be ready for Christmas 2021. Brittany is thrilled to announce that Wintertide is available starting November 12. With songs about home and a cabin up north to songs about crystal trees and a Christmas ghost ship, somehow every slice-of-life song she sings is a love song.

To be honest, Christmas music is one of my favorite wintry things, especially the soft, cozy kind that makes you want to snuggle up underneath a warm fuzzy blanket with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book. And WINTERTIDE’s vibe is exactly that! Each song is soft and warm and beautifully written, and I find myself falling more and more in love with them with every listen. If you love Christmas songs, indie music, and supporting an artist who’s love for her craft is apparent in each and every lyric, I highly recommend checking out WINTERTIDE.

And, while you’re at it, be sure to take a peak at the giveaway Brittany Jean is hosting over on her Instagram account, as well! There are three prizes (super CUTE prizes, might I add) and three winners, and y’all! I’m so so excited about this!!

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go grab a book, make some hot chocolate, and put Wintertide on in the background… I’m feeling very cozy on this fine winter Tuesday, my friends!

talk to me, peasants!

what are some of your favorite Christmas songs? do you enjoy listening to indie music? (tbh, most of my favorite songs are indie. idk what it is, but just like indie books, there’s a creativity in indie songs that most traditional stuff just feels as though it’s lacking.) and most importantly, what is your favorite song on this beautiful new album? personally I’ve been listening to Call Me North, and Y’ALL. This girl’s skill with a guitar (and her VOICE, MEEP!) are honestly enviable.

As always, let’s talk about ALL OF THE THINGS down in the comments below! And until next time…

  1. Call Me North is quite possibly my new favorite song of ever! It’s got ALL the things I love and it makes me cry every time I listen to it.

I’m so glad you’re enjoying these songs!

My favorite Christmas songs? Oh man, I tend to kind of love all of them. But a few of my favorites that aren’t on this album are Mary, Did You Know, Collin Raye’s “It Could Happen Again,” and Casting Crowns’ “While You Were Sleeping.”

    • UGH YES!!! Call Me North is SO GOOD! I adore it (all of them, really) so so much…

Ohhhhh! While You Were Sleeping is an incredible song!!! I also love Mercy Me’s Joseph’s Lullaby! It’s so calming and sweet…
