Okay, so technically I’m still on hiatus, but !!!! but !!!!! BUT !!!!!!!

A while back I mentioned in one of my recap posts that Em had a YouTube channel, and now . . . I AM ON IT, PEASANTS!!!!

This video was SO much fun to make, you guys, oh my word. I honestly can’t even begin to explain what an adventure this was. I’ve never been able to sing very freely in front of people outside of my family circle (thanks crippling stage fright), but getting to sing with Emily was one of the funnest (yes, that’s a word) things in the whole wide world, and I feel so honored to have been able to be a part of her channel. (I don’t know if you’re reading this, Em, but I just want to say thank you SO much. This entire experience was hilarious and fun and wonderful, and I’m still laughing at all the bloops. XD)
So yeah. That’s basically all I want to say before I disappear off the face of the earth again. You can check out the video if you want to (and also the rest of her channel, because she’s got some really cool covers over there), ooor you can just admire how happy we look in the thumbnail. Because that’s totally what I’m gonna do. XD

Um y’all sound AMAZING.
Also you’re good at the ukulele. I have respect. I love the ukulele as an accompaniment instrument, though, it just has this hollow happy wistful /something/ sound. AND the strumming rhythm/pattern/whateveritscalled is awesome. It reminds me of the cool strumming stuff my sis does on her guitar. I super need to figure out some new strumming rhythms/patterns/whatevertheyrecalled on my ukulele cause I always fall into the same old one and it doesn’t always fit the song and also variety is the spice of life and conversely sameness is the unseasoned pasta of life. And I am not really super fond of unseasoned pasta.
Anyway. This is amazing and y’all are amazing and you sound SO GOOD and I kinda feel like I wouldn’t like this song in its original version but this one is just so pretty and GOOD so yes THANK YOU FOR BLESSING MY DAY WITH THIS BEAUTY <3
